Division of labour and modernization: territorial configuration
Abstract
In this paper, we seek to reveal the new metamorphosis of the society and the territory unchained by the expansion, to national scale, of the metal mining as long as hegemonical division of labour intrinsic to the unequal and combined functionalization of the technician-scientific-informational medium in our country. This way, we will try to give bill of the process of reorganization of the territorial configuration and the social dynamics in front of the new spatial order concocted by the impetuous and frantic invasion of the hegemonic capitals and the restructuring, on the part of the national State, of the norms that govern becoming of the exploitation of the Argentinean mining locations, remembering, always, that metal mining has not been historically an economic activity of traditional root in our country. That embryonic process, far from to stop or to be mitigated, it expands in an incessant, quick and frantic way, carrying disastrous implications for those regions and places affected by the hegemony of that new territorial division of labour. Key words: modernization; division of labour; territorial configuration; social dynamics; metal mining.Downloads
