Abstract

With a view to considering rural development, the theme of agricultural modernization is of particular importance. The relatively recent nature of the line of studies to modernize agrarian activities in Geography is due to the situation of seeking theoretical support for the research that is developed according to this approach. In this circumstance, there is also a concern to assess the degree of equivalence or overlapping of concepts related to this domain of consideration.
