Evolution of the Scientific Knowledges about the Ozone Gas
Abstract
In the last decades, the world’s scientific community has expressed intensive preocupation with the reduction of ozone layer, because of the liberation of artificial chemical compounds, vulcanians eruptions and alterations in the cicle of the sun. The stratospheric ozone is considered a natural filter for the planet, once it makes the interception of the ultraviolet rays, harmful for living creatures. This research approaches extensively the evolution of the scientific knowledges about the ozone gas through the XIX and XX centuries, identifying the main researchers, the initial and actual focalizations, as well as the most utilized ones.
