Abstract
This paper provides date on erosive processes developed in the SW region of Rio Grande do Sul State, in Cacequi community. These processes are very significant due the characteristics of the region as: (i) occurrence of fine sand in the substrate and soil, (ii) low vegetal cover, (iii) high precipitation and (iv) use of the soil without conservationist techniques. To study the evolution of the erosive processes this paper aims to discuss the Macaco Branco ravine, which represents an advanced erosion level. It established a first order drainage and several rupture points where appears movement of regolith downslope by gravity.Downloads
