Abstract

This paper is a reflection on Piaget, Gibson and Tuan from the view point of perception in general and Geography in particular. It tries to link geographical research with Psychology. It also relates research on geographical and perception landscapes. Key words: Piaget, Gibson, Tuan, Research on perception and geographical landscapes.

possui graduação em Geografia e História pela Universidade de São Paulo (1958) , graduação em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1948) , especialização em Pós-graduação em Geografia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1967) , especialização pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1975) , especialização em Environmental Studies pela University of Toronto (1980) e doutorado em Ciências pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1967) . Atualmente é Voluntária Livre-Docente da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Tem experiência na área de Geografia.
