Abstract

The appearance of Environmental Education is consequence of the necessity to presenting one ‘new’ paper for the man in its space of experience. Its character emphasizes the possibility to redefine habits, attitudes and values of the human being. Since he is a part of the nature, he has the responsibility to reflect about the ethics, as well as the direction of his life and his existence. It is important to emphasize that Environmental Education must be understood as motor force and it stares at the education as component of social transformation inspired in the dialogue, to understand the world in its complexity and the life in its totality. We believe the methodology of research-action is a valuable instrument for the research and for the practice of Environmental Education, because it plays an active role to equate the social and environmental problems and to follow and to evaluate the actions unchained for these problems. Key words: Environmental Education. Research-action. Human being.
