CONTRIBUIÇÕES RECENTES EM GEOGRAFIA HUMANISTA E CULTURAL

Abstract

Os estudos humanistas e culturais em Geografia têm se desenvolvido muito no país, com uma maior difusão nos últimos 10 anos. Um conjunto de iniciativas, motivações e tendências têm se aglutinado ou caminhado em paralelo no desenvolvimento e ampliação destas temáticas, aparecendo gradativamente na forma de livros, especialmente coletâneas. Nosso mercado editorial, ainda muito escasso em bibliografia geográfica, tem tido dificuldade em absorver a crescente demanda por literatura geográfica de qualidade sobre o assunto, que tem sido produzida nos mais diferentes cantos do Brasil.
