The dynamic of the land market in a context of development based on family farming
Abstract
his article analyzes the commercialization system related to a development context based on family agriculture as a territory that results from the organization of actors to oversee the distribution and sale of specialized products (cultivated and processed with environmental concern). To do so, we characterize the collective commercial structure implemented by the Association of Ecological Farmers of the slopes of the Serra Geral Mountains (AGRECO), which is based in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Lima, SC. We present the dilemmas and differences in opinions (between farmers and technicians) related to the issue and we consider the institutional and parallel commercialization strategies as forms of commercial territoriality in dispute. Key words: Territory and territoriality; family farming; rural development; collective commercialization; AGRECO.Downloads
