METODOLOGIAS DE PESQUISA E PROCEDIMENTOS TÉCNICOS: CONSIDERAÇÕES PARA O USO EM PROJETOS DE PESQUISA EM GEOGRAFIA

RESUMO A importância da metodologia, nos projetos de pesquisa, está no fato de que não há neutralidade na relação entre o pesquisador e o objeto ou fenômeno a ser estudado. A escolha da metodologia perpassa pelos valores, sentimentos, concepções, visão do mundo do pesquisador e se traduz no direcionamento e qualidade intrínseca do material pesquisado. Em Geografia, em especial no nível superior, o docente tem de ter clara a linha de pensamento, entre as várias existentes, a ser adotada em suas pesquisas, o que reverte numa atuação em sala de aula com mais coerência e profundidade. Este trabalho apresenta, didaticamente, as principais abordagens metodológicas usadas em trabalhos de pesquisa, a base teórica, os procedimentos técnicos, as palavras-chave e as correntes do pensamento geográfico afinadas com os principais expoentes da Geografia. ABSTRACT The importance of methodology in research projects, is in the fact that there is no neutrality in the relationship between the researcher and the object or phenomenon to be studied. The choice of methodology runs through the values, feelings, conceptions, world view of the researcher and it is reflected in the direction and intrinsic quality of the researched material. In geography, particularly in higher education, the teacher must have a clear line of thought, among the many existing, the one to be adopted in his research, which reverses in a performance in the classroom with more consistency and depth. This paper presents, didactically, the main methodological approaches used in research studies, the theoretical basis, the technical procedures, the keywords and the currents of geographic thought tuned with the main exponents of Geography.
