Abstract

The article reports to part of a Ph.D. study in progress about space analysis and water management. The knowledge of the form by means the Dutch government focus about its superficial water resources management will serve as base for comparison with other realities regarding this subject. It will be boarded the possible vulnerability of the urbanized areas of the Dutch territory, by means of the decurrent impacts of climatic changes of the country and the decurrent water availability of the same one. The subject evidences the necessity of multiple organisms (civil society, governmental bodies, academic institutions and third sector) to line up in favor of attainment adequate solutions where different government levels have shared responsibilities and multi-managed the water resources. The Dutch example seems to translate it all and, still, to evidence the accurate necessity to act before the installation of problems that will affect so basic needs as the fact to drink water of good quality and to live in safe places.
