This article analyses the model of resources repassing to all schools units developing by Minas Gerais State. One of repassing modalities is analysed wich calculation is made by means of a per capita mechanism based on each registered student. The text presents arguments that indicate the inconsistency of allocation model. Such evidence was verified in two perspectives. One of them of conceptual basis, was made use of a parameter cost-student-quality whereas the other arose data of a part of a budget reserved to education. This route led the author to conclude that available resources are already insufficient to the improvement of education quality.Downloads
