CITY AND URBAN PUBLIC POLICY: MACEIÓ, AL IN DEBATE
Abstract
Public Policy means, in general ways, the action of the State. However, the meaning of this expression cannot be reduced to this idea because it refers to a theory that tries to explain the relation between State and Society. But this comprehension cannot ignore the intra-urban territorialities that are built from political decisions that choses in the space the areas to be used for different interests of many civil and economical agents. In this way, with the public policy theories it is possible to explain the (inter) action of the inter-establishments and inter-personal that are expressed in places, that means, in the intra-urban territories. At last, a dialogue between different authors and different approaches is constructed, with the purpose of making a synthesis of what, after all, is a part of the knowledge of the urban public policies and what are their study objects.Downloads
