Environmental risks in small cities: recovery for an abandoned clay digging in tambaú (sp)

Abstract

The mining activity configures one of the most important modalities of exploration of natural resources as much of the economic view point as the negative outcomes in the environment wich are irreversible sometimes. In certain circunstances the recovery of dedicated areas explored are fully feasible. The present communication takes in account the environmental problems caused by activities of mining in urban areas. Finally we intend to present a proposal recovery of environmental risks for an abandoned clay digging located in the urban space of Tambaú city (SP). Key words: clay extraction; environmental risks; recuperation.
