POLÍTICA DE PATRIMÔNIO E USOS ESTABELECIDOS: O CASO DE TIRADENTES – UMA CIDADE SETECENTISTA MINEIRA

Abstract

The preservation of the historical heritage through an appropriate politics is constituted, now, in a form of maintenance of our memory and in a paradigm of local economical development, a face gone back to the tradition and other to the modernity. However, besides solutions, the analysis of the space heritage can show structural and social problems. In that context, the objective of this work is, first, to understand through the constructions patrimony, the different established uses in Tiradentes, for tourists and residents, together with the solutions and problems that accompany those uses; second, to verify the politics of effective heritage in the city. It is looked for to unmask the reasons of the transformation of that space in merchandise, once the municipal district found the tourism as answer social and economical to your historical heritage of the seventeenth century and eighteenth century. keywords: heritage, preservation, uses.
