ASPECTOS NEGLIGENCIADOS EM ESTUDOS DE IMPACTO DE VIZINHANÇA

Abstract

Neighborhood Impact Study was created and has been used in Brazil to establishment, evaluation and analysis of urban impacts due to new urban occupations. Its propositions and development could permit city governments to analyze the proposed occupation and discuss its construction or installation permission and corrective actions to minimize its impacts. However, practical results, commonly expressed in Neighborhood Impact Reports, have showed some deficiencies in impacts identification and evaluation, reducing the efficacy of these reports. Based on Neighborhood Impact Study history, technical fundamentals and lawful aspects, this article intends to identify reasons of those deficiencies and propose alternatives for increase neighborhood impact studies efficacy.
