Abstract

This study is primarily about a verification on stratim distribution of the fish community in a dammed sector of the ribeirão Sabiá upstream between the municipal boundaries of Itapevi and São Roque in the Atlântico Highlands in the São Paulo State. The obtained results the assumptions on horizontal and vertical fish species distribution along a water column according to the propositions of the Evolutionist Biogeography. possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Faculdades Osvaldo Cruz (1972) , graduação em Bacharel Em Geografia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1979) , graduação em Licenciatura Em Geografia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1979) , graduação em Especialista em Administração Escolar pelo Ministério da Educação e Cultura (1972) , mestrado em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1985) e doutorado em Geografia (Geografia Física) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1993) . Tem experiência na área de Geografia , com ênfase em Geografia Fisica. Atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Refúgios florestais, Pleistoceno terminal, Biogeografia, fragmentação de matas, expansão vegetacional aberta.
