Abstract

Nowadays, the world is strictly urban, characterized by a greater part of the population living exclusively at cities. It can promote sceneries of urban interests fights, what occur in a dynamic way with several scales. The citizen in this scenario has a lot of rights that must be demanded and duties that must be accomplished. In this way, it is undeniable that the cities construction and grow up, as well as of the study and proposals for their problems, don't go by the ratification of the interdependence between civil society and State. In this manner, this work has as its main objective to analyze the role of Brazilian public politics concerning to urban planning, evaluating the historic-structural base for its accomplishment and the social, economical and methodological recent aspects involved in this process.
