Climatic behavior and incidence of the citrus conker, in the cultivation of citrus, in Limeira (SP) and Bebedouro (SP) boroughs

Abstract

This research had the objective to study the behavior of the climatic variables temperature and rainfall, and their influences in the incidence of the disease “citrus conker” in the cultivation of citrus, in Limeira (SP) and Bebedouro (SP) boroughs, considering the years between 1982- 1999, to check what of this boroughs have the climatics characteristics that favor this incidence. It was compared the behavior of the climatics variables considered with the demands climatics of the disease in question, and concluded that Bebedouro borough, climatic point of view, is more favorable to this incidence than Limeira borough.
