Weather and diseases: effect of climatic parameters in the blood pressure in the citizen of Santa Gertrudes -SP.

Abstract

The climate and weather has an important influence on human health. This reseach examine how weather may affect human health. It also focuses the interactions among atmospheric systems, specific elements weather (temperature, humidity and precipitation) showing their reflections on citizen health. The clinic parameter selected was the morbility of cardivasculares diseases, specially blood pressure. The results, shown that daily variability of the air temperature, low relative humidty and isolated precipitation or long dry period, increases the cases of morbility blood pressure, indicated the natural detemination of the weather on the diseases.
