THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT IMPACTS AROUND OF INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT-1 IN UBERABA MG.

Abstract

The present article is resulted of a preliminary analysis concerning some environment impacts that harm the quality of life of the resident population in the quarters Alfredo Freire and Grande Horizonte. These quarters surround Industrial District I, where some industrial activities are carried through by different companies. The diversity of use of the ground, residential and industrial ends, allows to a rich quarrel regarding the urban environment problems that affect direct or indirectly the quality of life. It is presented a conceptual quarrel in relation to the environment quality and quality of life, having delineated differences and similarities. Moreover, the Managing Plan was identified as crucial instrument in the control and urban environment planning. Key words: Urban environment impacts and urban environment quality.
