The public use of protected areas through the promotion of trails has become an important tool for nature conservation. In a geosystemic approach, the abiotic part of nature is known as Geodiversity, which together with Bio and Sociodiversity make up the Earth System. In nature conservation, Biodiversity occupies a prominent role. In this way, this research aims to analyze the perception of geodiversity by users of the Transcarioca Trail in Rio de Janeiro, aiming to contribute to the awareness and consequent appreciation of Geodiversity. For this, an online questionnaire with 16 questions was applied in Google Forms and the data processed and made available in Power BI. The results indicate that the frequency decreased during the pandemic, that few users were guided, that stretch 25 is the most performed and the PNT is the most visited UC. The Geodiversity concept is known by 86.7%, the viewpoints are the most representative landscapes of the TT and this scale better represents the Geodiversity than the outcrop. Despite the high degree of curiosity (8.79 out of 10), lack of information about Geodiversity (87.92%). The Information Panels, Application, Visitor Center and Pocket Guide were the most chosen dissemination methods.
