Abstract
The Paraná Sedimentary Basin has important position, in national scenery, related to groundwater potentiality of its geological units, especially the Guarani Aquifer System (GAS). The present study shows a groundwater basin analysis
applied to the Mesozoic units (Botucatu, Serra Geral, Caiuá and Bauru units), found in the western position of the São Paulo State. The study was based on the following surface and sub-surface data: deep wells, structural maps and stratigraphic sections and maps. It was possible to identify some water supply projects related with those Mesozoic stratigraphic units of the Paraná Basin.
