Increasingly severe climate change is having a number of consequences for the planet, such as rising sea levels as a result of global warming. Consequently, coastal cities are becoming more vulnerable to climate change and are more susceptible to disappearing. The aim of this study is to propose a methodology for obtaining tidal heights linked to the Brazilian Vertical Datum-DVB, using the time series of the EMSAL, EMMARC, EMMAC and EMMIMB stations from the Permanent Tide Gauging Network for Geodesy (RMPG). To compare the results obtained, we used records collected in the field in the city of Caravelas/BA, time series provided by the company Veracel Celulose S.A, located in the city of Belmonte/BA and average daily data from the University of Hawaii Sea Level Center-UHSLC database. The results revealed that the methodologies used in Caravelas and Belmonte showed a greater correlation in relation to Ilha Fiscal, where the interpolated data (DI_CAR) performed better in Caravelas, while in Belmonte, a better result was obtained with the data predicted by PACMARÉ (PAC_BEL).
