This study involved children and teenagers from the city of Curitiba, which developed sport activities, analizing aspects of phisical and simbolic violence, the use of drugs and their relacionship with sport activities. We also showed evident violence study and its interface with sports, from the point of view of sport history and social development, according to Norbert Elias theory. The study demostrated that children and teenagers keep some control of the emotion and violence and fisical expression while they are not practicing sports. Nevertheless while practing sports they often get envolved with violent situations, as arguing, verbal menace and even fisical aggressions. Basically on this study we can confirm that the self-control of the children and teenagers in practing sports doesn’t happen always as a better way, since the violence takes part of practising configuration.Downloads
