Abstract

This study aimed at finding the relations that occur between the adult and the ludic experience, checking out the role of the Physical Education professional as a mediator between these elements. The literature research was conducted by means of text, thematic, and interpretative analyses. The field research was performed in the city of Americana-SP, by means of a comparative study, involving professionals and adults inside clubs, and other adults in a public space. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, using field journal and forms. The study found out that for adults the leisure field is a way to fulfill their need for the manifestation of the ludic experience. Regarding the professional’s performance with adults, it is still defective. We found that there is a need for a public policies of leisure, based in the ludic component of culture, for a significant participation of people in this period of life.

Possui graduação em Educação Física pela Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (2004). Mestrado na mesma instuição, na linha de pesquisa de corporeidade e lazer (2007). Atualmente é docente do Centro Universitário Herminio Ometto- UNIARARAS - Araras-SP. E professora da rede estadual de ensino, na escola E.E. Alice Antenor de Souza - Sumaré-SP. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física, com ênfase principalmente nos seguintes temas: lazer, lúdico, recreação, ecoturismo, ética profissional e Ed. Física escolar. Nelson Carvalho Marcellino, Curso de Educação Física da Unimep, Piracicaba, SP

Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1972), mestrado em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1984) doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1988), e Livre docência, em Estudos do Lazer- Educação Física, pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1996). É professor aposentado da UNICAMP. Atualmente é professor da Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, nos cursos de mestrado em Educação Física e doutorado em Educação. Tem experiência na área de Estudos do Lazer (Educação Física, Educação, Turismo e outras), atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: lazer, educação, turismo, educação física, politicas publicas, esporte e recreação. É membro do Grupo de Pesquisas em Lazer- GPL e também do Oricolé - Laboratório de Pesquisa sobre Formação e Atuação Profissional em Lazer - UFMG . É membro do Núcleo da Rede CEDES- Centro de Desenvolvimento do Esporte Recreativo e do Lazer, do Ministério do Esporte, no IEP-UNIMEP. Tem cerca de 450 publicações.
