Narratives of the body and gestures in the game of capoeira

From the participant observation of a group of capoeira in the city of Natal / RN, looks to show nuances of rationality tattooed body and gesture, from the game of capoeira. To this end, we apply the method of phenomenology proposed by Merleau-Ponty, based on the systematization of visual score as a methodological tool for the observation of gesture and body in the game of capoeira. It presents arguments from the intentionality of body experience in capoeira, saying the human society and culture, to the extent that the meaning of gestures and body tissues are in the mutual actions, established and recognized by the subjects.Downloads
