The purpose of this essay is to reflect upon the aspects that constitute the formal knowledge production set as a value for the Physical Education. As for that, it is understood as necessary the approach of intervening factors in the formal knowledge configuration together with professional groups, with the purpose of reflecting on the status of the formalized knowledge as a value, arising from the inheritance of the relation between Vocational Schools and University. It is also our intention to call the attention to some implications of these factors for understanding the professional knowledge constitution in Physical Education. Finally, we want to call the attention to the fact that any analyses carried out about critical aspects of the Professional Education, isolated from the tensions that reached it, could mean firstly not to consider the factors that rule the specific culture of a specific area, in the preparation of their professionals.Downloads
