The main intention of this field study is to know the aspirations of students who participated in an education through sports project, in relation to the benefits of its practice and to observe if there are expectation differences between the boys (37) and the girls (40), whose average of age are of 11.5 years. The results indicated that the professional formation (to develop as athlete or instructor) populates the imagination within both sexes. We take advantage of the evidences of the study to discuss the lack of evidences of the said "anti-hegemonic or transforming" pedagogies and probable effects brought about by the abandonment of the teaching of the technical aspects of the sport gesture, born from the critic to the "technicism". We emphasize that the abandonment of teaching-learning of the technique seems to be in opposition to the aspirations and expectations of the participants.Downloads
