Dança Break. Sistema Laban - análise dos movimentos. Performance.Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyse the Hip-Hop dance culture (Break Boyin'g, Popin'g and the Lockin'g), according to four movement factors, defined by Laban (power, space, time and fluency). This analysis makes possible the verification of the internal attitudes expressed through of the body movement (effort shape). So, it was possible to discourse about the Hip-hop aesthetic, having as subject the body’s poetical language. The Laban System allowed this level of analysis, because it supported a dual perspective about the phenomenon: it can be measurable - while logical analysis - and observable - while subjective interpretation. This dynamical dialogue between objective aspects and subjective aspects, verified the possibility of analytical reconstitution, which is very pertinent resource, when the objective is to analyse the performance through its relations’ perspective in process.Downloads
