The new high school and the physical educacion

The purpose of this study were: to verify if the proposed changes in high school reform really caused changes to the pedagogic action of the PE teacher acting in Jundiaí-SP; to know who is this teacher; and to map the main difficulties teachers have at this level of high school. The analisys of the results showed that the changes proposed by federal goverment didn’t cause changes in the pedagogic action of the PE teacher graduated in Jundiaí. The PE classes are given at the same period that others one, and their main content is sport. The main difficulties teachers have to face are lack of courses and qualifications tailored to high school. Teachers main needs are: a great support from the goverment related to courses and qualifications and the increasing of classes for high school.Downloads
