Desastres Ambientais e Educação Ambiental: análise das pesquisas acadêmicas do banco de teses e dissertações do Projeto EArte no período de 1981 a 2016

This research analyzes the meanings attributed to environmental disasters in the brazilian theses and dissertations in Environmental Education. The most relevant problem is to elucidate which ideas are present in the debate on environmental disasters in research in Environmental Education until the year 2016 and its implications for the processes of “deterritorialization in environmental disasters”. The work is a “bibliographic search”, in which content analysis is applied to the documental corpus. Three categories were identified with themes emerging from the exhaustive analysis of the material. There was a tendency to discuss environmental disasters in an approach that considers the social and natural dimensions articulated to the political issues that involve the theme; It is also concluded the absence of a profound discussion of the deterritorialization associated with disasters, a fundamental theme according to the theoretical assumptions of the present work.
