Abstract
This article includes part of a master study, in which we aimed to investigate the use of Case Study Teaching as strategy to promote a more reflective and critical approach in an Environmental Education training. In this research, we assumed the adoption of a socio-cultural and historical perspective, and we chose to interpret our data through a qualitative perspective. We assume as a guide of our analyzes, the discourse conception of social practice and ideological arena proposed by the Bakhtin Circle theory and by Ducrot's polyphonic theory. Our analyzes indicate the potential of promoting spaces that encourage the production of authorial materials during teacher trainings processes, once this helps to incorporate technical and practical aspects which are inherent to teacher's profession.
